Brooks, Elva Lillas passed away into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Port Colborne, Ontario at the age of 70, after a brief struggle with cancer.
Elva is survived by her husband Don Brooks; brother Graeme Pirie, sister Marilyn (John) Lindsay; children Richard (Katherine) Brooks, Sarah (Matthew) Van Essen, Rachel (Leonard) VandenBerg; 19 grandchildren; brother in-law Ed Brooks & wife Nancy; 7 nieces & 2 nephews and their families; step-mother in-law Eileen Brooks. Predeceased by parents Walter & Eunice Pirie, Father and Mother In-law William Nelson & Margaret Brooks, brother & sisters In-law, Bill & Ruth Brooks, Betty Brooks, Pam Pirie, and Granddaughter Elysha Brooks.
Visitation on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm, Davidson Funeral Home, 135 Clarence St, Port Colborne, ON L3K 3G4
